This Privacy Policy governs the access and usage of RailOne – SuperApp for Indian Railways, developed and hosted by Centre for Railway Information Systems. This policy describes and determines how this App handles and deals with your personal information in accordance with the applicable laws of India. The below policy details out the usage, handling and storge of personal information collected from the user. The Privacy Policy should be read in conjunction with Terms of Use.

• You may use certain services offered on this App through Guest login by providing OTP authenticated Mobile Number.


• While registering on this App, your personal information not limited to Name, Mobile Number, Email Id, Date of Birth, Gender, ID Proof, and Address may be collected.


• Your personal, demographic, location, device, and other similar information may be collected. The information requirement is based on our services being used by you.


• We collect information such as Operating System, Date and Time of Visit, Pages visited, referring URLs, IMEI/IMSI number, Device ID, Location information, Handset make & model etc. However, no attempt is made to link these to the true identity of the user.


• Sensitive data like Mobile Number are stored in encrypted format for normal viewing.


• We do not sell or share any personal information to any third party (public/private) except mandated otherwise by law of India.


• The Personal Information collected from you helps us provide you services offered by Indian Railways.


• Your usage details may be used for certain analytics purposes to enhance your experience with us.


• You may delete your account at any time on your discretion. We will remove all personal information associated with your account upon deletion making it inaccessible through any normal operation. However, the personal information will be retained in encrypted format for the purpose of legal requirements for a minimum of three years period.


• After deletion of Account, if you wish, you can re-register yourself with us. However, previously filled information will not be available for use.


• In case you delete the App from your handset without deleting your Account, you shall continue to be a registered user of RailOne App.


• Your Personal Information may be shared with law enforcement agencies and other Government Departments if the Ministry of Railways has good faith/belief that access, preservation, or disclosure of information is reasonably necessary to:
  • Meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable government request.
  
  
  • Enforce applicable Terms of Use, including investigation of potential violations.
  
  
  • Detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues.
  
  
  • Protect against harm to the rights, property, or safety of this App, other users, or the public as required or permitted by law.


• We use your biometric to provide you a better user experience and ease of access via fingerprint, pattern recognition or facial recognition with enhanced security.


• We use camera and microphone of your device to capture photo, voice search or to record audio.


• We send you notification, alerts, reminders and messages to your device notification panel.


• We use Ad_ID for analytics purposes through Firebase Analytics. This identifier helps us understand App performance and user behavior. We do not use this ID for Serving Ads, Ad targeting, Ad personalization or Sharing with third-party advertisers.


• We are committed to protecting your privacy while delivering the best features to improve your experience.
